Scholarship/Recent Graduates Programs
Recent graduates are individuals who obtained a qualifying associates, bachelors, master's, professional, doctorate, vocational or technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution and earned a 2.95 or higher GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Rising Leaders Developmental Program (RLDP)
Formerly the Career Exploration, Advancement, and Development (CEAD) Program.
Command funded 3 year fellowships with ARCYBER HQs and/or Cyber units (NETCOM, CPB, TWC, 780th MI, JFHQ-C, 1st IO). Designed to expose recent graduates to the Army Civilian Corps and potential career opportunities, with emphasis on STEM and mission critical occupations. Please see fact sheet to learn more.
Army Fellows Program (AFP)
This program ensures development of Civilians through a blend of progressive and sequential work assignments, formal training, and self-development. Individuals in this program will be able to progress from entry level to key positions.
DoD Smart Scholar Program
Program provides full tuition, annual stipends, 8-10 week summer internships, and guaranteed employment with ARCYBER upon degree completion and satisfactory performance for a variety of STEM fields. Participating organizations include ARCYBER HQs, U.S. Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM), Cyber Protection Brigade (CPB), 1st Information Operations Command (IO), U.S. Army Intelligence Command's 780th Military Intelligence Brigade (780th MI BDE), Technical Warfare Center (TWC), and Joint Forces Headquarters-Cyber (JFHQ-C).
DoD Cyber Scholarship Program (CySP)
Education: Undergraduate, Graduate (MS or PhD)
Academic Field: Computer Sciences, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, Engineering (other), Business
The Department of Defense (DoD) Cyber Scholarship Program (CySP) is sponsored by the DoD Chief Information Office and administered by the National Security Agency (NSA).
DoD is working with universities across the country, known as National Centers of Academic Excellence (CAE), to develop and expand cyber-related curricula. Interested students need to apply directly with participating institutions – the list of institutions designated as CAEs can be found at https://www.caecommunity.org/cae-map.
Cyber Talent Initiative (CTI)
Education: Undergraduate, Graduate (MS or PhD)
Academic Field: Cybersecurity-related field, such as computer science, engineering, information systems, and mathematics are ideal candidates for this program
- first-of-its-kind public-private partnership aimed at recruiting and training a world-class cybersecurity workforce.
- create a selective opportunity for students in cybersecurity-related fields to gain vital public and private sector work experience and even receive up to $75,000 in student loan assistance
- receive an offer of employment from a federal agency for two years
- develop management skills from senior mentors in the public and private sectors
