Recruitment, Relocation and Retention

ARCYBER is always looking to recruit and retain highly skilled applicants. Recruitment, relocation, and retention incentives (3Rs) are compensation flexibilities available to help Federal agencies recruit and retain a world-class workforce.

  • Recruitment incentives may be paid to an employee who is "newly appointed" to the Federal government, if position has been deemed hard to fill.
  • Relocation incentives may be paid to a current Federal employee who must relocate, without a break in service, to accept a position in a different geographic area that is likely difficult to fill in the absence of an incentive.
  • Retention incentives may be paid to a current employee who has unusually high or unique qualifications or special need of the organization that make it essential to retain the employee.

All incentives may be paid up to 25 percent of the employee's basic pay, multiplied by the length of his/her service agreement.
