Command Sgt. Maj. Jebin R Heyse assumed duties as Command Sergeant Major, U.S. Army Cyber Command, in September 2024.

Heyse is a native of Avon, Maine. He enlisted in the Army in June 1997 and was awarded Military Occupational Specialty 96B (All Source Intelligence Analyst) upon completion of Advanced Individual Training at Fort Huachuca, Ariz.

Heyse has since served in leadership positions at the section, team, troop, squadron, battalion, brigade, and command levels. His assignments include Intelligence Analyst, 1st Armored Division; Intelligence Sergeant and Team Leader, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment; Squadron Intelligence Section Sergeant and NCO-In-Charge, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment; Senior Afghanistan Ground Analyst, U.S. Central Command; Senior Enlisted Reports Officer, Defense Intelligence Agency; Chief Intelligence Sergeant, Security and Support Troop Sergeant Major, and Intelligence Squadron Sergeant Major, U.S. Army Special Operations Command; Battalion Command Sergeant Major, 513th Military Intelligence Brigade; Brigade Command Sergeant Major, XVIII Airborne Corps; and Command Senior Enlisted Leader, Cyber National Mission Force. Prior to arriving at ARCYBER, he served as Intelligence (G2) Sergeant Major, U.S. Army Forces Command.

Heyse has deployed in support of NATO’s Kosovo Force, twice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, once in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, and on multiple additional missions in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.

His awards, decorations, and badges include the Defense Superior Service Medal; Legion of Merit; Bronze Star Medal (four oak leaf clusters); Defense Meritorious Service Medal; Meritorious Service Medal (two oak leaf clusters); Joint Service Commendation Medal; Army Commendation Medal (one oak leaf cluster); Joint Service Achievement Medal; Army Achievement Medal (one oak leaf cluster); Good Conduct Medal (eighth award); National Defense Service Medal; Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal; Afghanistan Campaign Medal (one campaign star); Iraqi Campaign Medal (five campaign stars); Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Armed Forces Service Medal; NATO Medal (two campaign stars); Joint Meritorious Unit Award; Valorous Unit Award; Combat Action Badge; and Basic Parachutist Badge.

Heyse was inducted into the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club in 2004.
